Privacy Policy

We collect data in three categories:

• Account data — your name, email, password hash, billing identifiers, and plan.
• Knowledge-base data — the portfolio, pricing, and rules you upload to configure qualification.
• Conversation data — messages exchanged between your website visitors and the widget, and the scope briefs generated from them.

We use account data to operate your subscription and support you; knowledge-base and conversation data to run qualification and produce briefs for you; and aggregated, de-identified data to improve the service. We do not sell personal data.

Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires it, we rely on: performance of our contract with you; your consent; and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, balanced against your rights.

We share data with vetted subprocessors only as needed to run the service:

• An LLM provider — to generate qualification and briefs (conversation content is processed transiently).
• Cloud database & hosting — to store your account and knowledge base securely.
• Email provider — to send account and lead-notification emails.
• Paddle — payment processing as Merchant of Record.

We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of Your Content at any time; some records may be retained where law requires.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise them, email privacy@scopetics.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Because you deploy the widget, you are the controller of your visitors’ conversation data and are responsible for informing them and obtaining any consent your jurisdiction requires. We process it as your processor under these terms and a Data Processing Addendum available on request.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EEA/UK.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users and authorities of a material breach as required by law.

Our marketing site and app use essential cookies for authentication and, where you consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control non-essential cookies via your browser or our cookie banner.
